TF250 Thor Filtration Air Filter Microclene MC200 Air Filter For 12′ x 14′ Workshop

The TF250 Thor Filtration Air Filter (formerly the Microclean TF250) is suitable for filtering the air in a workshop of up to 22 cubic metres air volume, around 3m x 4m floor area (14′ x 12′). They are reasonably quiet in operation and can consequently  run for long periods of time. Air Filters should also be used in conjunction with a dust extractor for maximum dust control.

The small compact design of this unit also make it ideal for small workshops.Its versatility means it can also  be used in various ways;

•Suspended in the centre of the workshop to act as a general workshop air cleaner

•Suspended over a particular dust producing machine, such as a lathe

•Sitting on a shelf or work bench

The filter is made of polyvee glass and to the EU4 standard, which means it will filter out 95% of all dust at 2 microns or larger, 80% of dust down to 1 micron and 65% of dust down to 0.4 micron.

The filters are very easy to replace.

What is reasonably quiet?

Thor have taken noise ratings for this machine, 1m away from the unit. The background noise was 15DB when the unit was turned on and running the noise level was 58DB
